“We build bespoke expeditions to allow you to experience the best of what the Red Centre has to offer”

Camping Or Accommodated

At Alice Springs Expeditions, our highest priority is to give you the best possible experience while touring around Central Australia. Where possible, we always like to talk to our clients on the phone or zoom while planning your journey to ensure we get to know you and what is important for you to match your interests with the experience we can offer.

We understand that a perfect experience for some might be sleeping in a very comfortable swag under the stars in a remote, spectacular location. While for others, this may be their worst nightmare and they may wish to opt for one of the many accommodation options in the region. There are many ranges of accommodation in the resorts of Yulara (gateway to Uluru - Kata-Tjuta National Park) or Kings Canyon to suit your budget. We cater for either of these options, or a mix of the two.

Our tours are highly personalised, and it is difficult to publish prices because of this. But please feel free to hit the 'Contact Us' button with an idea of your must see's, the length of time you would like tour, and any other important details and we will be happy to put a quote together for you. We will enhance the itinerary with elements you may not have thought about; sites you may not know about; and experiences you never would have thought possible.

Getting Away From The Crowds

At Alice Springs Expeditions, we pride ourselves on having an intimate knowledge the region, travelling to the areas where others rarely go.

We have an extensive knowledge of the off-road and remote tracks and special local sites.

We have the vehicles and equipment that allow us to travel into these remote locations, and have exclusive access to a number of spectacular sites on Aboriginal land where we are guaranteed to be the only people for miles around.

Touring In Comfort And Safety

Your comfort and safety is of the upmost importance to us. We have chosen a Toyota Landcruiser 300 VX for our luxury touring vehicle. This provides significant space for up to four passengers, and the option of adding another two guests with the third row of seats. We also have a Toyota Landcruiser LC79 as our utility vehicle, which can be used on larger group tours if required.

Both vehicles are kitted out with all of the equipment required to venture into the most remote areas of Central Australia. Significant upgrades have been made to each vehicle to ensure that we have the best possible equipment to handle the varying conditions in the outback. We also ensure that if the need arises, we have a fully stocked remote first aid kit in each vehicle, including a defibrillator. Communications are essential when travelling far from mobile reception. We have a number of forms of comm's, including Star Link and satellite communications with our Garmin devices. this equipment allows us to be in communication at all times, whether it is in the need of help, or just checking in with family.

On extended tours, we tow a fully equipped trailer. This carries all of our camping and cooking equipment, food (dry stores as well as a 100lt fridge / freezer), 120lt water and power. We also carry a toilet, and shower on multi-night journeys.
